    We were hoping for a special Christmas Eve family dinner, but it ended up not being anything special - akay, but not special.

    our waitress was so nice which is what made the review 2 and not 1 star. the food was beyond overpriced and the portions were so small. the lobster bisque was butter bisque w two pieces of lobster. the crab dip was a mustard dip. it was just horrible. we got extra chips for 2 dollars,, they brought us an empty basket of 5 chips 💀. i haven’t felt this upset ab a restaurant in years.

    We had a great dinner at Blackwall Hitch Annapolis last night. We decided to sit in the bar next to the fireplace instead of the dining room. We started with a Caesar salad, fresh and nicely prepared. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto, very flavorful. The scallops were fresh and plump, perfectly prepared as was the shrimp. My dinner partner had the braised beef short ribs. Once again perfectly prepared and very flavorful. There was a wonderful guitar playing vocalist that brought back fond memories of The King of France Tavern and listening to Charlie Byrd. Great evening and we'll definitely be back.

    We had a new server. Started out good but struggled by the end. Took us over 30 minutes to get our check. Food was great, nice to have parking in Annapolis.

    What a wonderful staff and restaurant! It’s a bit odd to walk into a place for the first time and say, “Oh, I’ll be coming back here!” It was just a feeling!!! Our server, Drew, was nice and attentive and I liked the fact that the Manager walked around and not only greeted guests, but also cleared plates! (I believe in leading by example!) Some of the food wasn’t quite as hot as I would prefer it, but there was a wonderful selection to choose from for Sunday Brunch. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon out!

    Everything was great. The bread was crusty yet flaky and tender. It was served with a whipped butter There was infused was a subtle yet profound infusion of herbs. We ordered the rockfish and creole rigatoni. The rockfish was especially remarkable. The fish was succulent and served in a wonderful bed of rice, corn, and other wonderful flavors The rigatoni was very tasty and filling. We very much enjoyed our visit.
