Located on the north side of Main Street Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro provides a casually sophisticated dining atmosphere with a little city in the mountains. Chef Dante's local ingredients, talented culinary team and unorthodox approach to cooking combine to create a truly memorable experience for you and your guests. The Bistro's wine list is an ever rotating selection of the best vineyards from around the globe and the cocktail list has been carefully crafted to take the guest on a journey of flavors and scents.     We were early so went to the bar. We decided to eat at the bar and service was excellent! Food is always excellent , we always make a point to dine at the Blue River Bistro when in Breckenridge. Consistently a great experience.

    We came for the 2 for 1 happy hour martinis and were blown away by the food. We ended up eating all small plates rather than moving on to entrees. Epic professionalism behind the bar. We got there right at 4 pm and had no problem finding seats at the bar. By 4:15, it was PACKED.

    We eat at Blue River every time we go to Breckenridge. We’ve had the salmon, the sausage penne, the short rib, and the escargot. All are delicious. You can’t go wrong anything on the menu. Our daughter is gluten -free and they have many options for her, too. She’s eaten the gluten free pasta and the skirt steak which were both very tasty. The ambience is nice. Upscale but not uptight.

    We had a wonderful experience at Blue River Bistro. Jason was our server and he recommended the best dishes! Wine is amazing and the food is delicious. Definitely a must do when you are in Breckenridge

    Excellent service, great cocktails, delicious food, and a lovely environment, Blue River Bistro has all the things you need for a wonderful night out in Breck.

    Great service as always and the food was good! Disappointed, however, that they no longer have the Paella and the calamari was grilled vs previously fried. The Beef Wellington was excellent though.
