Located on the north side of Main Street Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro provides a casually sophisticated dining atmosphere with a little city in the mountains. Chef Dante's local ingredients, talented culinary team and unorthodox approach to cooking combine to create a truly memorable experience for you and your guests. The Bistro's wine list is an ever rotating selection of the best vineyards from around the globe and the cocktail list has been carefully crafted to take the guest on a journey of flavors and scents. Our dinner here is an annual treat and all was excellent as expected except our server, who was the same as last year, was not the friendliest and AGAIN he did not offer a dessert menu or after meal suggestions. We enjoyed our meal but his brusqueness was off putting and since this meal was for 2 of us celebrating our birthday, well kind of a downer!! The hostess did give us a card signed by all the workers after we were seated but other than this, there was nothing else to help make this meal unique or a celebration. Oh well…

Loved the upscale design, server was sweet and efficient and my favorite part is that they are very aware regarding food allergies! I’m gluten free and the choices were awesome, best gf bun for my short rib grilled cheese! Can’t wait to go back!

Great service, tasty food, very accommodating with our requests. 2 for one any martini and small plates during happy hour. We really enjoyed our meal! Thank you.

We were early so went to the bar. We decided to eat at the bar and service was excellent! Food is always excellent , we always make a point to dine at the Blue River Bistro when in Breckenridge. Consistently a great experience.

We came for the 2 for 1 happy hour martinis and were blown away by the food. We ended up eating all small plates rather than moving on to entrees. Epic professionalism behind the bar. We got there right at 4 pm and had no problem finding seats at the bar. By 4:15, it was PACKED.

We eat at Blue River every time we go to Breckenridge. We’ve had the salmon, the sausage penne, the short rib, and the escargot. All are delicious. You can’t go wrong anything on the menu. Our daughter is gluten -free and they have many options for her, too. She’s eaten the gluten free pasta and the skirt steak which were both very tasty. The ambience is nice. Upscale but not uptight.
