Blvd Tavern is a modern American Tavern focused on delivering warm hospitality, delicious food and great drinks in a comfortable neighborhood setting in the heart of the Kansas City Crossroads Art District.
Our menu changes frequently and focuses on seasonal ingredients. We prepare everything on our menu from scratch, from the buttermilk biscuits at brunch to the hand cut fries on our daily grind burger. We offer dinner five nights a week, lunch Wed-Fri and Brunch on Sat and Sun mornings.
Our dining room is a mix of brick and reclaimed wood (we even have wood from a barn the owner's great-grandfather built on the family farm in 1902). Our quaint patio is one of Kansas City's best kept secrets.

The private dining room at Blvd Tavern can accommodate up to 50 guests comfortably for a seated meal. Larger parties can be accommodated for cocktails and appetizers. Two old Blacksmith's ovens original to the building are featured in the room. We offer custom menus, coursed dinners, family style service, and much more. The room is perfect for luncheons, receptions, birthday celebrations, or business meetings.

Food was wonderful. Our server asked us twice if we wanted boxes (after only 30 minutes), so we felt rushed. Overall, not a dining experience I would want again.

Great place to catch a game and hang with friends! However of note the steak flavor good, but low quality cut, definitely avoid IMO, Very tough…other entrees good though …

We had a wonderful dinner experience! The truffle fries were perfectly crisp with soft centers and seasoned well. The shrimp and grits and steak salad were delicious and generously portioned.

Great place for a casual evening with good friends or family. The food was delicious and the signature drinks tasty. Little noisy but can’t be helped with the space. Recommend getting a reservation as it was full from 6:30 to 9pm last Saturday evening

We decided to try Blvd Tavern as it was convenient to the Kaufmann Center where we were heading for a show. We both enjoyed our meals (Cajun Pasta and Mac and Cheese with carnitas) and were very full when we left. The menu is pretty limited but there is enough variety that we will likely return and try something else. Our server, Daniel, was personable and attentive which we appreciated.

the ambience was very cool and I can imagine the weekends would be hopping and fun. Food was excellent service was very good. I would definitely recommend it.

First time and we will be back! Everything was great! Great portions, options and tasty drinks! Service was perfect- attentive but didn’t bug us which was exactly what we wanted. Thank you for a great night!
