We arrived t have to wait for staff to greet us. Another 10 for table to be ready at very empty restaurant. We were sat …staff was great. 3 times to get the right menu. Then we went to order fish and chips and they said they were out. Seafood restaurant said we could not get fish and chips. Decided to leave and felt that they did not value or want us there.

The ambiance in this Boathouse is wonderful, it has lovely lighting and beautiful decor. Service was good, the food was top notch. We ordered calamari, Portuguese seafood stew and seared Ahi Tuna. We will dine here again for sure!

Happy hours the best, great options for great prices, didn't even need a main course. Drink list was great and also affordable. Service was impeccable.

We recently dined at The Boathouse, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was flavourful and well-prepared. The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a very nice time with our group. However, the service left a bit to be desired. It took a long time to receive our drinks, and we waited even longer for bread to arrive at the table. One of our party members received a cold steak, which the staff replaced, but unfortunately, the replacement steak was tough. While the food and ambiance were great, we hope the service can be more attentive in the future. We’d still recommend giving it a try, especially if you’re not in a hurry

Lovely dining experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when I had questions about certain dishes. Our server was amazing and made sure we had everything that we needed. I ordered the That Glazed Black Cod which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Loved everything about it and the portion was perfect. The Lobster shrimp carbonara was very tasty, the shrimp a tiny bit overcooked but still delicious. Very good portion and I’d order it again.

8pm reso , had to wait 14 mins for a table. Once seated waited 10 mins for a waiter to greet us , ordered the food pairing for nye soup came without spoon asked for one waiter forgot by the time I got one it was cold… restaurant was not busy …

This was the worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant I’ve ever been to. First, they didn’t advertise that they had a set menu second the server poured a whole plate of food all over me third we waited 30 minutes for our second drink after we were done our meal by the time they asked for dessert it was an hour later.

Over all the food and drinks were really good, ceaser salad was a little lack luster. However the service was very poor, we almost got up and left at the beginning and I wish we had. The server changed when we both didn't want to part take in the rather expensive holiday meal selection at $80 each. My partner doesn't have the largest appetite and wanted a shareable menu item as her main, this just didn't seem to work for our server and we felt the service went down hill from that point on. On top of that the bill was placed on the table before desert was finished and we were asked if we needed the machine seconds after the last bite. Didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. I thought fine dinning was an experience and part of that was having a relaxing enjoyable meal, our experience at the Boat House wasn't that.
