   Food was underwhelming. The polenta under a glass was totally different than previously. the branzino was under seasoned as well as the cauliflower. The gnocchi was flavorless as well. Very disappointing.

   Service was impeccable and spot on. Ambiance was elegant but inviting. The food was delicious but extremely rich. We throughly enjoyed the meal and experience.

   Incredible dinner at Bottega! Our server, David went above and beyond! His suggestions made our experience truly memorable and special. We had the lamb appetizer. It was paired with pickled vegetables. It was delicious! Next we shared two entrees that the chef split for us. We had the Sofia Loren pasta dish and the Bolognese pasta. The meal was fantastic! If I could give it 10 stars, I would! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Napa!

   Have been here many times and it remains one of our absolute favorites. Great menu, superb food and a nice ambiance. Still caters a little bit for tourists but we are locals and in the wine business here and still love it!

   Food was good but not great. We had the Brussel Sprout salad which was mediocre...we had the 36 oz Porterhouse and it was decent for a steak that size and price of $150...the spaghetti was delicious best without the red sauce in just the oil and peppers it was served in. The service was really poor and that led to an experience that I walked away saying I'd not go back or recommend...maybe it was just a bad night. Thst happens.

   We had an outstanding meal to celebrate our anniversary. What an excellent choice we made! Split the risotto of the day which included perfect diver scallops. Husband ordered and totally enjoyed his fusilli de Michelangelo which included arugula, shiitake mushrooms, and sun dried tomatoes in spicy marinara sauce. I had the duck leg confit and roasted duck breast au jus and both were perfection. The portion is very generous so my husband was the happy beneficiary of duck to chop into his pasta. For dessert we loved the chocolate lava cake with hazelnut crème sauce. They had me at chocolate. The wine list includes Italian and local CA gems and my husband was thrilled to be able to order a glass of Barolo, which is not often the case. My local Zinfandel was great with the duck, as well. Services was attentive, smooth, and friendly, but not pushy.

    We were three ladies celebrating a big birthday. When we entered we told the hostess and asked if we could have one of their nicest tables (we were life long friends who get together every ten years). He led us to a table in the back by the kitchen. We were greeted and asked if we would like water and then no one came to our table again for about 45 minutes and only then because we reached out to a waiter. We felt like we received very poor, if any, service. Our entrees were just ok. Very disappointing as we had driven far and it was a big event for us. I feel like it is not difficult to get a good restaurant in Yountville. Next time we will pick one of the other.
