Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections.

Alexis was our server, he did an amazing job. We had some issues we had to solve over the phone with work, and he patiently waited and checked in on us without rushing us to order. The food was amazing. The Gnocchi Nonna is to die for!

Salads were amazing - main dishes were fair. I had the Sophia Loren pasta - it was spicy and not much in terms of flavoring. I asked for a little Parmesan cheese, which seemed to annoy our waiter… service was very mediocre- rushed without any real interest in making the evening memorable, or at the very least, enjoyable. I will not be back - many other good restaurants in the area.

Bottega never disappoints. Michael our server was awesome. The 2021 A6 by the glass is such a winner. Incredible salads and pasta.

Spaghetti alla Sophia Lorena was on spiritual as usual. Tried Brodetta for the first time: it was fabulous! We finished the broth, crossing and every remaining morsel of bread at the table. Even the puff pastry was astounding! Cannot wait to return.
