One of South Florida's favorite steakhouses, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina - Miami offers contemporary American fare with a focus on prime cuts of all natural, organic and hormone-free beef and the freshest seafood available from around the world. As a friendly reminder to our guest, we offer a discounted rate for valet parking at $15 per vehicle. You will be validated once you check in for your reservation at the restaurant.

Please note: Grace period of 15 minutes for each reservation. Reservations of 6 or more will require a credit card hold. I made reservations here for my girlfriend’s birthday. Despite telling them this was a birthday dinner, they sat us in the bar area. It was really loud and the table is an awkward height for having a dinner. The server took 5-10 mins to come over after we were seated before he helped us, and wasn’t very attentive for the duration of our dinner. Here’s the best part, they asked if we wanted a desert menu. Didn’t bring out a little dessert with a candle or anything. This is the first place that I’ve dined at that didn’t bring out a small desert and candle for a birthday. For spending $260 you expect more. This experience ruined my girlfriends birthday and our night. I will not be back here again. I recommend you pick somewhere else for your special event.

We have been to two other locations (Nashville and DC) which were exceptional. This Aventura location was the absolute worst dining experience we have had in a long time and we eat out 4-5 times a week in the South Florida area. Our table of 6 was seated at a large table for eight up against another table of eight. It was so tightly packed that we could not back up our chairs to get into or out of our table. The noise was unbelievably loud and we are not on the older side! There is absolutely no sound proofing. It almost seemed like we were in a lounge area that was used for overflow. Our server came over and took the order and we never saw her again. Not once more! We ordered one round of drinks and were never offered a second. We had to basically beg for water. Our server was essentially the busboy for the rest of the night. He came and took our appetizers away before we were done saying that our food was going to get cold because the kitchen is trying to get food out quickly. Why is that and why is your kitchen problem now our problem? The timing was as poor as the quality of food (tuna tartar is minced and mushy, salmon overcooked and not a center cut at $59). The best part of the night was leaving! You’re opening an location much closer to us in Delray but will be hesitant to try it or recommend it. There are no many quality steakhouses in Southern Florida so competion is tight. Do better!

The management team made our visit truly special! It was my son’s 12th birthday - he received a custom menu and signed card, he was over the moon. The bone marrow appetizer was out of this world. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening. We will be back.

It was our second visit, and the food was excellent! Just as I remembered from last time! The fries they offer instead of bread are such a good treat! The Bone in Ribeye was cooked to perfection… the service was very attentive, and Mauricio the sommelier was very knowledgeable and pleasant! Overall a great experience

We booked a reservation here back in July for New Year’s Eve dinner for 8 people. At 4pm on NYE I received a voicemail that the restaurant would only be serving a limited menu and that we would be charged $350 per person. Upon contacting the restaurant to let them know we would want to order off the regular menu and not be charged the exorbitant fee per person we thought we were all set. Our reservation was at 8:15pm; we were not seated until 9pm. It seems the JW Marriott had moved their NYE party into the restaurant at the last minute which we would have never done had we known. But it was NYE in Miami and no way we would find another restaurant at the last minute. The service was very good. The food was hit or miss. I ordered my filet medium rare and it was served medium. Of course by that point it was after 10pm and I was too tired of complaining after all the missteps. This was truly disappointing as I have dined at other Michael Mina restaurants and this one was not up to par.
