A San Diego tradition since 1969, the Brigantine has received numerous accolades during our 40+ year history: "BEST SEAFOOD", "BEST CASUAL SEAFOOD", "BEST HAPPY HOUR", and even "BEST SWORDFISH IN THE WORLD", according to USA Today - just to name a few.

Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish & Crème Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks & grilled meats.

A favorite destination for locals & tourists alike, the Coronado Brigantine is located in the heart of the village, immediately adjacent to the historic Hotel Del Coronado.

Completely remodeled in 2016, the "new" Coronado Brigantine is an elegant adaptation of its former self. The addition of an intimate private dining room, a surround-seating bar and street-side outdoor patio have been equally well-received.

My family and I enjoyed dinner on a Tuesday evening during spring break. Our waiter was very nice and the ambience in the outdoor/indoor patio was a nice change from being completely inside. We shared the crab/shrimp Cobb salad and it was plenty of food for two people. I would even recommend sharing it for a group of 3-4 if you’re looking for a side salad for each. I think we would come back again if we were looking to visit Coronado.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with a cousin visiting from the Midwest at your restaurant. The service was attentive, the meal was very good and enjoyed the styllish atmosphere. Thanks!

We were visiting and this was our favorite meal the whole trip to San Diego. Beautiful setting, great service and the food was delicious. I also felt it was a great value for what we got. I appreciate the kids menu too. :)

Unfortunately, from starters (oysters and cocktail shrimps) to the mains (swordfish and fish tacos), the food was just bland with no particular taste. Strikingly, the seafood didn't not even smell of sea! Service and attention was good, but the food was far from desirable.

Our meal was serious as always ! Halibut is unbelievable! Celebrated my sister in laws birthday. She ordered the same ! Loved it ! Beautiful Coronado restaurant across for the Hotel Del . 💕👍🥰

We enjoyed a pleasant, Sunday afternoon meal at the Brigantine. We had requested exterior seating, which was ideal today. Perfectly prepared Golden Ale battered Cod was Delicious !! As well Wagyu Sliders with Fries. Drinks were refreshed regularly by our server. Condiments provided without our requesting but Greatly Appreciated !! Overall a Fantastic Meal and Environment !!! Thank You 😎 .

Great experience except when I reserved I said it was hubby’s 70th. I thought a small dessert would’ve been nice.
