A San Diego tradition since 1969, the Brigantine has received many accolades in our 40+ year history. "BEST SEAFOOD", "BEST CASUAL SEAFOOD", "BEST HAPPY HOUR", and even "BEST SWORDFISH IN THE WORLD", according to USA Today.

Well-known for our signature Clam Chowder, Grilled Swordfish, and Crème Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks and grilled meats.

Perched between the spectacular Pacific Ocean and the hills of Rancho Santa Fe, the Del Mar Brigantine sits high above the action of the Del Mar racetrack.

A lushly landscaped garden offers an unparalleled setting for weddings and outdoor-themed events. Indoors, a formal dining room looks out to the garden through floor-to-ceiling french doors. For more casual dining, the glass-enclosed deck is a year-round favorite.

The Del Mar Brigantine serves dinner 7 nights a week, lunch Monday-Saturday, and brunch each Sunday.

Brigantine Del Mar has been a go to restaurant for my wife and I for years. Great view, great food and service, every time. Our waiter was Caleb and he went above and beyond with the service. We will continue to go back to Brigantine.

Very good seafood. Excellent wait staff. My spouse ordered an apple crumble dessert, but it was sold out. The manager offered any other dessert on the house.

Had another fantastic night of Oysters, Clam Chowder, Dirty Martinis and views. Was a bit cold thankfully they shut the windows as we had a gorgeous view of Del Mar Racetrack all lit up. Thank you to the staff and excellent food again!

We arrived early for our reservation but the host was able to accommodate us on the outdoor patio. No problem since they had heaters and the ambiance was nice and quiet. Sarah was our server and she was excellent; friendly efficient and attentive. The food was the usual excellent quality It was a lovely dining experience and we will return again when in the area.

The server moved us to a quieter area after first being set next to a very loud party. So good service throughout the night. The $20 crab cake was cold and tasteless. Very expensive food for the quality. Second time there- first time was better- maybe last night was a fluke.

Nice vibe since the remodel. Our server Jason was excellent. My husband’s shrimp cocktail was a bit dry but other than that no complaints.
