   First, I want to acknowledge Patricia, our wait person. She was attentive but no overwhelming. I would ask to be seated in her area again. Second, I and several family members have been going to the "Brig" at their many locations over the years. I've become very disappointed in the food. I ordered a half dozen oysters. All but one were plump and fresh. The one that wasn't fresh was very fishy. I have been worried that eating it will come back to haunt me as it takes a few days for bad/fresh seafood to wreak havoc on the intestinal area. My husband ordered the lobster tacos. The dish was served with french fries and green beans and carrots cooked al dente. I've noticed this combination on other visits to the Brig in other locations. It's an odd combination to put with tacos. While the green beans and carrots were well prepared, the french fries were soggy. I don't think these two sides compliment any type of taco and the chefs should consider alternatives. I also ordered the crab cake. It was good. However, it was placed on top of some soggy cabbage. And, while the plate was hot (as the server warned me when she placed it in front of me, the crab cake was warm and it could have been a bit warmer. We will most likely continue to go to Brigantine restaurants closer to our home. We came to the Escondido location to attend an event at the Escondido Center for the Performing Arts. Otherwise, we would not be in this neighborhood. Hoping for improvement in the future. Not giving up!

   Delightful afternoon with a group of small business friends. Great food, and we caught up in a quiet environment for discussion. A variety of dishes ordered, dessert and coffee as well as clam chowder. Everyone was pleased with the service and the food. A wonderful spot for a retreat from the craziness of the outside world!

   Our server was very pleasant; but over committed. Thus, we felt she wasn't as attentive as she should have been.

   Excellent meal! And you made my friends day by asking for his ID ! Hostess was sweet as well and very personable.

   Did not realize the dining room opens at 5 so when we arrived about 20 minutes before our 5 pm reservations it was open seating in the bar/lounge area. We found a table and received outstanding service from Miguel! Food was excellent, absolutely loved the shrimp & grits! Great cocktails, too! Will absolutely return in the future.

   Great excitement today as multiple tables celebrated birthdays. Everyone seemed to be in positive mood. Food was a bit over cooked but good. I think being so busy threw the cooks off their game. Fish just can't be overcooked.

   Our server, Meghan, was excellent. Attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. First class service!

   The food is good and generous and prices are high. Service in the dining room was five star. Patricia was wonderful as were the others who served us and "patroled" for customers needs.

   Excellent meal and service. Even more important was the staff allowing me to stay to finish business discussion that took more time then I thought it would! Always appreciate that extra professionalism offered.

    Always consistent and great food. Maitre D smiled and made us happy. Server, Andrea in pink glasses, was terrific. All of us were happy.
