    Our waiter, Tom, was excellent. He gave us a quick, helpful explanation of the menu. Our food was delivered as we ordered and it was delicious! The Bristol never disappoints!

    We celebrated a birthday at our favorite seafood spot. The private seating was a nice touch, and the service was good but not exceptional. Some sides, like the twice-baked potato and broccolini, were overcooked. While the food was tasty, it felt overpriced, especially with fewer menu options. It’s a nice place, but be prepared for the cost.

    We had reservation for two in the dining room but were seated in the bar area at a very small table for two. The noise level was very very high. There were multiple televisions broadcasting football games. If I had wanted to go to a sports bar I would have gone to a sports bar. The next time they try to seat us in the bar, we’re going somewhere else.

    Excellent food, outstanding service, wonderful ambience. Lauren did a great job! Our favorite restaurant!

    Buffets was basically good as usual. Some exceptions. Carved beef could be more substantial as today's was fatty and as only one piece was being carved, the doneness level was whatever was there. I love the fresh shrimp, but the shrimp was placed in a serving bowl on ice. The ice had melted and the shrimp was swimming in water. Also, it would be nice to have little carafes/bowls available to put the cocktail sauce in, also for the horseradish at the carving table. This would keep you from dumping the sauces on your dinner plate. Small issues, but the meal is not cheap and the Bristol offers itself as upscale restaurant .

    It took 20 minutes after we were seated to get water and order drinks. Went to desk to get their attention. Once we got it going it was a grand experience and the Rapahannock oysters were an excellent choice.

    This was my first dining here as I was just passing through. The creole seafood gumbo and salad was delicious. For my main dish I had the seafood grill which was just ok. It definitely needed more seasoning. The panko fried shrimp was awful. My husband didn’t like it at all. Our server was wonderful though.
