Great Food * Epic SunsetsBrockton Villa is a beautiful historic home converted into a restaurant located directly across from the ocean. Our seaside location offers a spectacular view of the world-famous La Jolla Cove, and has become a favorite "show off" spot for locals and visitors alike. We are known for our breakfasts, including our famous Coast Toast. Our chef creates many other wonderful dishes seasonally for lunch and our dinner service.Our house is the perfect place for you to host your next party. Whether it be a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, baptism, bridal shower, baby shower, or any special occasion.

Ate here on a Sunday morning for brunch two weeks ago and everything was great. However, we brought out of town guests on Monday for lunch and food was not great. Ordered crab cakes which were terrible. They were mostly filler, with scant crab, and they were overcooked and hard to chew. One of my guests felt that they got sick from the curry clam chowder. Made Monday's reservation 2 weeks in advance. Hoped for a quiet table with a view. We had a view, but the restaurant seated a group of 7 men next to us, who were extremely loud. It was difficult to carry on a conversation, because it was difficult to hear over these 7 men's voices.

Great ocean front cafe! A friend recommended Brockton Villa for breakfast during our stay in La Jolla and she was spot on. Megan, our server, was awesome sharing menu highlights in a professional and congenial demeanor. She was very helpful with menu options. The Coast Toast (elevated French Toast) was a huge winner! Delicious and totally 100% da bomb! If you enjoy a good French Toast it’s definitely worth a try and I think you’ll love it too. Excellent Location, Great service, and warm & wonderful food choices….doesn’t get any better! We shall return on our next visit to San Diego. 🥰🤩😋 YUMMY

Great local spot with a beautiful view. Food was overall great except for the crab cakes....not enough crab, too much filler. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

It was a cold day so we requested to sit inside but the doors were open so it was like we were sitting outside (although, the outside people had heaters do probably warmer). The food was good

Lovely ocean view from the patio as we enjoyed our delicious lunch! Cioppino, lobster roll, and club sandwich were all very tasty!

The cinnamon roll pancakes were fantastic. Also the blanco latte was delicious! Service was also great and you cannot beat the view of La Jolla Cove!!
