The Broken Bit is...

A classic American Cowboy steakhouse with a unique dining experience that combines contemporary American Cuisine with a Western Flare. The Broken Bit is located in Quartz Hill, a small community that takes pride in its country western heritage and lends itself to cowboys and cowgirls riding horses down the streets.

The Broken Bit uses only premium aged USDA All Natural Black Angus Steaks, free of Hormones and Antibiotics. Our Steaks are hand cut and seasoned with our Broken Bit Steak Spice then grilled over oak slowly searing the meat in its own juices while adding a mild smoke flavor. We also offer a wide selection of other items such as: Fresh Seafood, Chicken and Lamb Chops.

We take pride in serving exceptional food and highly sought after small batch Whiskey with unrivaled western hospitality. In fact, we make it our mission at the Broken Bit to serve you with the best of everything we have to offer.

The food is always delicious. The pork chops melt in your mouth. We ordered a red and a white sangria and they were both super tasty. As we were about to leave my wife asked our waiter, Jaden if he would take our picture being that it is our 38th anniversary. Jaden said he can do better, he cleared our table of the dirty dishes and returned with a scoop of ice cream with sprinkles, chocolate syrup, a candle and a Happy Anniversary sign on it. It was a pleasant surprise. Thank you Jaden and to the entire staff at Broken Bit.

Our waiter, John, made great suggestions! We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday. We can’t wait to return.

Thankfully we were able to get a last minute reservation, it was our first time here and we had a great experience. Both me and my boyfriend had prime rib, and it was cooked to perfection, we had mash potato’s and spinach for sides that were also delicious. Cocktails are also very good here. The service was great everyone was welcoming and attentive. This is a great place to enjoy some great food, definitely will be going back.

Food great and the service. However they seem to book their reservations too close. So you usually have to wait. My experience with most Opentable restaurants is that even if you get there a few minutes early they can seat you and definitely by the time of the reservation - so my suggestion to the restaurant is not to book so tight.

We celebrate a Birthday. That person did not get any attention, no Birthday sign, or anything. They sat us at a table for 6 and there was 7 of us, we had to ask for more room, they did add a table for us. But we had to ask.
