    Was looking forward to an iconic dinner experience-dining room was too bright so went to eat at the bar- our bartender Was so nice - we Ordered a martini and a bottle of wine and turtle soup and Gator gumbo — was just awful and we love both at many restaurants It was our anniversary and we were so disappointed - so she was kind enough to take the soups off the tab and we left for Bourbon House and ate great fresh oysters ! we Flew in from Orlando with the number one spot - first night in town was Brousards So sad

    What a relaxing way to start a Sunday morning. The have the best Santa ever ... I think it really was Santa. Definitely make reservations. The service was spot on and the food was just right ... perfect in quantity and excellent in quality. I'm not sure if this is always the case but the live music started at 10am.

    As we walked in, customers were complaining. As we sat down customers were complaining. They had no sparkling water that was cold. Finally we talked them into bringing some with ice. They were out of filets. We ordered and one hour later we still hadn’t received our soups or salads. The table beside us got up and left. The table on the other side received their check but reminded the server that they had not received their entree yet. The dessert guys knocked over the bananas foster station. We finally left without ever receiving any food. This place is a disaster.

    The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a long delay between soup and entree, then again between entree and dessert. Wasn’t servers’ fault but was a distraction from the whole dining experience.

    Food was delicious. We particularly liked the redfish entree. What a lovely way to experience New Orleans; old school style in the midst of chaotic Bourbon Street.

    Food was excellent! Staff was very friendly and polite! Service time was not good. They seemed to struggle in being able to get food out in a timely manner . We were there there almost 2 hours before we got our entrees

    Brunch was OK. Festive atmosphere with Christmas decorations and Santa, but the service and food was mediocre. The coffee was excellent. Mushroom Gruyère omelette was huge, filling and OK, side of two dried-out fried green tomatoes, Eggs Josephine was a mess. The shrimp and crab cake, poached eggs and creamed spinach sounded good, but together they were just a muddled mess that needed salt. Bread pudding dessert sounded good, but was the same... just a lot of decorations thrown on a not-so-moist lump of bread pudding. Servers at nearby tables gave more menu descriptions and recommendations, which we probably could've used. Ours sort of forgot us, then finally stopped by to say they were going to "check on our order", which usually means they forgot to put it in, or pick it up. Disappointing experience.
