Bryant & Cooper opened in 1986 with big ambitions: to bring the top tier New York City "steak house experience" to Long Island. Not only would the very finest quality, hand picked prime aged steaks be served, but an ambiance would be created that makes everyone feel like they are part of a special private club. For membership...just make a reservation. Founded by the three Poll brothers with two generations of restaurant ownership experience, Gillis, Dean and George learned at an early age that the secret of a great restaurant was to start with serving the very best. That is why the steaks, chops and jumbo lobsters are selected on a daily basis, and only the freshest side dishes find their way to a plate served at Bryant & Cooper. Over the years Bryant & Cooper has received superlative reviews for its entire menu. The New York Times has proclaimed it the "best steak house on Long Island."

    Very good. Wednesday night and it was completely packed. People had to move their chair so we could get out. Always a good sign when a restaurant on a rainy weekday night and you can't get in. Food is always fantastic.

    Vibrant bar dining atmosphere. Bartenders are great and friendly. Food was fabulous. Never a bad experience.

    Every time we dine at B & C Steakhouse we’re reminded of why it has remained such a fabulous place for so long. Both the food and service were excellent (again). Few restaurants provide the same level of professional service that B & C does. Our experience this visit was wonderful, as the staff always seemed to be ready to provide what we needed at the perfect time and without making us feel rushed in any way. And, of course, the food was absolutely delicious. This time, we had the lump crabmeat cocktail and the sliced tomatoes and onions as appetizers, and a filet and a prime sirloin as entrees accompanied by asparagus and some fried onions. Every item was properly prepared and an absolute joy to eat. It’s wonderful to see a restaurant maintain such a high standard.

    Great meal. Food was excellent. We did feel like we were rushed and that the table needed to be turned over. I would recommend, highly.

    We had 5 pm resy. Restaurant was almost empty and they sat us near entrance and across from bathroom!!! Not necessary when most tables are empty and stayed empty for our entire meal. Our porterhouse was cold and tasteless. We had an unpleasant experience after spending a lot of money. Will not go back.

    Outstanding service and food, as usual. Food cooked to perfection. Children served almost immediately while adults perused menu!

    Consistently one of the best (maybe the best) steakhouse on LI and as good if not better than most in NYC. The Cajun rub ribeye is outstanding ask for it.
