The service and the food was very good. The only concern that I had was hostess was not very acknowledgeable of our presence nor our request of a specific table. The hostess did correct after I made mention of my preferred seating. Not sure how it is obtainable but would recommend there be some bar area that is not just in the cigar smoking room. I understand that is what makes this place unique and it is very inviting too many but for those that just want to sit at the bar and have a drink prior to being seated can’t do so unless they enjoy being around the smoke.

The food continues to be very good, but this is our second time where service was subpar. We were sat at the table where they promptly serve bread, but we only had one bread plate. Took about 10 minutes for someone to come around for us to get the remainder of the plates. I ordered a drink from the bar that never arrived but was put on my bill. My wife asked to see a wine menu and we weren’t able to get a server to come by our table until after we were already done eating.

Fantastic celebration for Christmas together with friends. Great upscale ambiance, the wait staff was incredible and the food was over the top! We experienced the bananas foster dessert and it was amazing! 10 out of 10.

Cabernet has always been one of our favorite places to dine. I made sure that the restaurant knew that we were celebrating my husbands 60th bday, which is kind of a big deal. I wanted everything to be really nice for him. Unfortunately there was nothing special about this night. I had to ask other waiters to find our waiter bc he disappeared. There was no candle on his desert or even any acknowledgment of his birthday. just a little disappointed. Cabernet usually does a much better job than this.

We were incredibly disappointed with our experience at Cabernet. My husband and I took our friend to dinner to celebrate Christmas. From taking our drink order to getting our drinks it took 50 minutes. We ended up ordering all at once because we were concerned about the timing - and glad we did. Our appetizers (the lobster tails and the escargot) were very small. The lobster tails did not have a lot of flavor. As for the escargot, you only get two - and they were also fairly bland. Prior to our food coming I placed another drink order but my husband and friend declined. The server however brought another drink for my husband, and brought me the wrong wine, and disappeared for 20 minutes. I finally got my correct wine halfway through our food coming. My petite filet was cooked unevenly (I ordered medium rare and received rare on one end of the steak and medium well on the other) and the meat did not taste seasoned. My husband’s lamb was good. The potatoes gratin we got for a side was very small, and was cold. We declined to get dessert - I didn’t want to continue to be disappointed. Overall we were at the restaurant for close to three hours and likely will not return.

Pricey, but it was expected at a restaurant of this quality. The food was good, even though I had to send my steak back because it was rare inside when I ordered medium well. Overall the table was nice, the food and drinks were good and my wife and I had a nice night out. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a date night.
