Cabezon is a bustling neighborhood seafood bistro and fish market. Opened in December 2009,
Cabezon is located near both Portland’s Hollywood and Rose City Park neighborhoods. Offering
“Coastal Cuisine with Passion” – elemental seasonal cooking driven by the offerings of the day
from local producers and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Owners, Chef David Farrell and
wine maven Jackie Speck, look forward to delighting you with their unique menu, and invite you
to stop by for our local wood-fired fish and meats, chef made pates, and seasonal ice creams.
Our diverse wine list features small hands-on producers.

                                              Lovely dining area, staff were right amount of kind and helpful without being cloying. They made our V-day memorable with delicious food and cocktails. Have been telling friends how much we loved it and it’s only been three days!

                                              This is my go-to place for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and other big-time events. The best time to go is early in the evening, before the crowds descend and the noise level becomes problematic. But it is lovely to have an hour or two before this happens. Our waiter was very patient, attentive to our needs, and very present. He checked on us several times as we were ordering drinks, appetizers and dinners and desserts. His enthusiasm for the foods there was apparent as he described various parts of the menu. We left feeling very satisfied with the quality of the experience there, especially the high quality of the food, and also of the staff. Thank you, Cabezon staff!

                                              We had a recent family celebration for 6 and the service and food were just great. Several of us had the mussels and chorizo, big favorites. Our waiter kindly brought us Caesar salads without radicchio, which none of us like, and was very accommodating and attentive with our large group. This is becoming our special go-to place for a nice dinner.

                                              I love this restaurant . Consistently good year after year. I had the sword fish and my wife had the Cioppino and they were both marvelous. We shared a Caesar salad that was also perfect. The atmosphere is both festive and animated and yet intimate. They have lovely cocktails and great wine selection.
