Welcome to Cafe 1
I have pleasure in offering you a unique, fine dining experience here in The Highlands at Cafe1, Inverness.

We take great pride in sourcing local ingredients - some produced by ourselves from our own Croft!

Our open plan kitchen turns quality Scottish produce into appealing modern dishes.

We are a restaurant that moves with the times.

All tables are re-booked 2 hours later.

Cancellation policy.
No shows will be charged at £20 per person Monday - Thursday £40 per person Friday & Saturdays.
Cancellations within 5 hrs of dining will be charged £15 per person with the restaurants discretion.

                                                          As always, we have the perfect meal in café 1 with great service. Food was lovely and hot, tasty and no rush to get us out of the restaurant. Great value for money

                                                          What a lovely evening we spent at cafe one. The food as well as the service was fantastic. It was a special evening made even better by their warm welcoming hospitality. Definitely a place to go if you ever venture to Inverness city centre.

                                                          We went to cafe one after it was recommended to us by a very nice man on a train ride up from Edinburgh. We showed up early and they graciously accommodated us. We decided to try what our waiter recommended which was the lamb and the monkfish. My husband had the lamb and it was tender and beautifully presented. I had the monkfish in a delicious broth surrounded by mussels and shrimp. I am still trying to figure out exactly what the ingredients were because I’m sure I will crave this dish when I am back in the United States. The atmosphere, wait staff, and of course the food is worthy of 5 stars. Thank you Cafe One (and our friend Mr Hall for the recommendation and scotch!)

                                                          Poor service due to 1 meal that was served nearly 10 minutes before everyone else and then the final meal arriving 10 minutes after others had finished their meals (only after asking for it!) Constantly having to ask over and over for drinks that were already ordered. We visit Cafe 1 often and unfortunately this was the worst service we have ever received. Although the late meal was offered as complementary it still spoiled the vibe. Food was very good to be fair and complements to the kitchen but the service needs to do better
