Enjoy classic favorites with a touch of Croatian style at Cafe LuMar. Dragica, who gained experience with baking from an early age, uses only the freshest ingredients to create her menu. The trendy atmosphere inside the restaurant is casual and inviting, and the food is down-to-earth. Guests can enjoy lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Popular menu items include the Chicken Pesto Panini or Grilled Vegies Salad for lunch and Beef Stroganoff or the Lamb Shank for dinner. For the price, Quality is ok, quantity is not enough . Can be a second choice restaurant for brunch.

My family of 4 had a most wonderful Valentine's Day dinner.The goulash and spinach crepes were absolutely delicious. Servers were very attentive and the owner was very hospitable. Will definitely return to try some other Croatian dishes.

I love crepes so when I saw that Cafe LuMar served crepes I wanted to try this restaurant. I ordered the chicken and broccoli crepe. It came with a small salad that was crisp and delicious. There were 2 large crepes with plenty of filling, another person had the spinach and mushroom crepes, and the 3rd person had the breakfast crepes. The owner and server were attentive and very pleasant. Food was delicious but probably could be a little warmer. Overall, I would return to try something else on the menu.

Love coming here every time! Food is non-comparable to anything I have ever tasted! The live music on Friday’s is such a treat, and Edwin, who helped serve, was so charming and lovely!

Celebrating friendship and birthdays. This wonderful little cafe offers Croatian food, wine and music on Friday nights. Favorites include the breaded park schnitzel, shrimp crepes, and a creamy chicken dish named after the owner! You have to try the Croatian red wine. The whole experience creates a warm, memorable afterglow.

Cafe LuMar is a great place to dine. Family owned and operated. Very quaint. Incredibly nice folks and the food is outstanding. Right in the middle of the Monrovia historic area - which is wonderful to stroll around. Btw - ample parking nearby and on the street. Treat yourself! Go to Cafe LuMar!

Very delicious food and great, efficient service even though we arrived a bit late for our reservation and bumped up against their closing time; not at all rushed. Inside, air was a bit stuffy so we asked to be seated outside ~ a sunny warm California day!
