Specializing in modern American cuisine, fresh seafood, and USDA prime steaks, Cafe Navarre is celebrating its 12th year in historic downtown South Bend. Located in a bank building in the heart of our city with the fusion of Old World architecture, natural light, and the contemporary furnishings.     Everything was ok except the mashed potatoes were very salty. They exchange them for new plate of mashed potatoes just a bit less salty then the other plate.

    My husband and I dined here for Valentine’s Day. Heather was a phenomenal server from start to finish and the general manager Michael made sure we were spoiled as well. We had the oysters, filet, and NY strip for dinner and all were excellent. Hard to beat the prices for the top quality experience you’ll get here. Then we got two desserts (angel food cake and a pink Apple dish) on the house, which was not out of character at all for Michael’s and Navarre’s reputation. We hadn’t previously dined with Heather before, but I will happily request her every time here on out. Navarre catered our wedding in 2019 and it’s always fun and nice going back. Thanks for a wonderful date night!

    The experience was great our waiter was very friendly and had an absolute great attitude. Along with really wonderful food I can totally say I highly recommend

    Not up to Cafe Navarre standards. There has been a decline in the quality of the food over the years.

    My wife & I went to Cafe Navarre for Valentine’s Day. Our server Autumn did a fantastic job! The atmosphere was one of the best in South Bend. Would highly recommend!

    We always select Cafe Navarre when we want to count on the best possible food and service. Our waiter Christian was super attentive and the food, as always, perfecto !

    We had our Valentines Day dinner here. The service was impeccable! Ikraam was attentive and very polite and professional. I had the Chilean Sea Bass it was the best piece of fish I have ever had anywhere cooked to perfection. If you have a special occasion or just want an amazing dining experience I highly recommend Cafe Navarre.
