The four-diamond Cannery Restaurant of today is reminiscent of its former life as a canning factory in the 1800s, where Niagara peaches and tomatoes were canned until 1957. Chef Mark Longster continues to serve up the best of the region in his menus which feature the freshest local produce and fine wines. Chef Longsters food is prepared and presented perfectly, for your ultimate dining experience.

We had Lisa as our server who was amazing, she was so personable and helpful, she really made our experience. The food was so good and the portion size was perfect!

Once again on our 8th Birthday Dinner for Mary, we came with happiness and left with same.The supper items we ordered the Prime Rib and side of mushrooms were perfectly presented as we ordered. The Pinot Grigio. Italian is exactly what we wanted, Ruffino's is superb. The main energy for the evening was for and from our Server Person Derek, what a catch for THE CANNERY to have him. He is a professional with all the attributes of a perfect server and greatly experienced to be sure. Derek actually made our evening and we are grateful for that. All in all and we are modest but former business types and world travelled , so when we comment on Derek we actually know what we are talking about with great joy. We like Arnold Will be Back to Cannery , which by the way is a superb dining spot. Keith and Mary

Very disappointed in the Prime Rib , needed an electric knife to cut….toughness piece of meat I’ve ever had. Martini was sub par Very disappointed $300 meal 30 minutes to get our drink order in

Really enjoyed our dinner at the Cannery. First experience there and definitely won’t be the last. Great to celebrate our anniversary.

Lovely ambience, only reason I didn’t give 5 stars across the board, they didn’t have enough options for people will allergies, dietary restrictions. For example, the chicken also had pancetta (I’m allergic to pork), and the fish option had pesto (I have not allergies). The service was great, and the choices of salads were fine.

The ambiance at The Cannery is incredible and the service is outstanding. The food was so delicious. We will be back again another time.

Ordered prime rib medium. Dinner came and the prime rib was well done. Notified the server and she took it back on my side plate. Kind of strange. Five minutes later brought another piece out and slid it from the side plate back onto my plate. The replacement prime rib was also overcooked. Not really what you would expect for a $250 meal. Our previous visit to the restaurant was exceptional.Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to the Cannery.

We’ve been to Niagara on the lake and never come to the Cannery. It was great ambience, great food, and just a wonderful time.
