Caracara serves authentic, upscale Mexican food in a comfortable setting. Couples, families and singles will feel at home in our dining room or tequila lounge. We are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner serving table-side guacamole, great margaritas, mojitos and sangria. Specials are offered daily and happy hour is Monday-Friday, 4pm-6pm in the tequila lounge. Our tequila list includes 70 premium tequilas. Menu features traditional entrees including Tamales, Iron Skillet Tacos and Enchiladas as well as our own innovative items such as Pollo Relleno.
Special prix fixe dinner menu for $29.95 Monday-Wednesday. (Starting September 2021) Tuesday is Taco Tuesday in Tequila lounge 4-6pm. Comfortable bar booths available as well as outdoor seating in season.
Lunch Menu served Monday - Friday 12n-3pm; Dinner Menu Served Monday - Friday after 3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon.

                                                                                          We have been going to CaraCara since it opened. It’s consistently been one of our favorite local restaurants and that’s not something that is easy to achieve considering how difficult the restaurant business is. We had the tableside guac, a delicious frozen drink each, paella and salmon. We were given churros on the house which were scrumptious. This is an all around excellent choice when you’re hungry for quality dining.

                                                                                          Drink & Appetizer portions were very very small. Our drinks (martinis and margarita) were half full, literally 3 to 4 sips and they were gone ,,,unfortunately the price reflected a full cocktail. We got the octopus chorizo special appetizer but it was like a 'hash' tiny little pieces mixed together-very little flesh from the octopus, mostly fat and corn- terrible ,,, and it was $21. On a positive note, the dinners were fresh and very good. Living n the area it would've been nice to have a local Mexican hotspot but for us, this is not it. The couple we were with had been there before trying to give it a second chance, to no avail.

                                                                                          As a Farmingdale resident, we’ve eaten here several times. Always a delicious meal. Our server was also attentive , knowledgeable about the menu and very nice. Overall, a great meal!

                                                                                          I always have an excellent experience at Caracara. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the best margaritas! The guacamole made at the table is just wonderful.
