Rafik Cressaty and his son, Patrick would like to welcome you to their family restaurant, Carbonara Trattoria, located in the heart of Dunwoody, Georgia. Carbonara is an inviting Italian restaurant with an ambiance reminiscent of Italy without sacrificing the southern charm of Atlanta. Warm earth tones, textured wall finishes and soft lighting are complemented by a menu featuring the finest fresh produce and ingredients. From antipasto and salads to fresh pastas and raviolis, quality meats and fresh seafood dishes, our Menu is inspired by the timeless recipes of the old north country. The father and son duo take you on a wonderful dining journey from the moment you walk in the door until the time you leave.

Reservations are not required but recommended. We offer a 15 minute grace period for reservations, if more time is needed please call.

Poor experience. Waited almost an hour despite a reservation. Was not offered an apology or even a complimentary glass of wine while we waited. Multiple other folks waiting left after losing patience. Was offered to push two circular high top tables “together” in the bar area to accommodate a party of 4 but why make a dining room reservation to do that? Service and food were fine, but certainly nothing special. The kicker is the $12 Caesar and Wedge salads - Literally served on plates smaller than bread plates. Would not recommend

Absolutely fantastic! It checked all of the boxes for me with great food, service and atmosphere. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made it extra special. We'll definitely be back! It's our new favorite Italian place :)

Very lovely experience dining here and introducing friends to Carbonara Trattoria. I lived in Jersey in the 80’s and the food and experience pleasantly reminds me of Northern Italian dining. Three of us had chicken piccata and one had a trout dish. Looking forward to next time.

The restaurant had a nice warm Italian feel to it. Our waiter was professional and attentive. I ordered the veal parmigiana and didn’t care for it. It looked like it may have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while before it was brought out. It also was heavily salted and the spaghetti that it was served with was overcooked and just a soft sticky mess. The portion size was fine but it just wasn’t very good.
