Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties. Your safety is our priority. DC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

The food was amazing and you got so much!!! We had angel hair pasta with marinara and meatballs...OMG!! I generally don't eat meatballs, but my son and husband said I had to. They were incredible! We had reservations before 5 p.m., and the servers seemed to be all over the place. Many were rolling in late, and servers who were there seemed to be stretched thin. The servers were very apologetic, and i get it. Thankfully, your dinner time is 1.5 hours because that's how long it took to get our order and dinner.

We were able to reserve a table a couple of days prior to celebrate our kids' birthday. We got there early and they were able to accommodate and seat us earlier than our reservation. Darrell, our server, was awesome. He clearly explained everything to the boys. He replaced my wife's drink, which was good but a touch too sweet. Portions were ginormous. So much so that we had enough for dinner the following night. Just a great time.

Had a wonderful dining experience with my family. The food was amazing and well prepared! Our server, Daryl, was very attentive to our needs and provided great insight into the menu options. Had the Titanic for dessert and it was so, so good 😋!!

Great dinner, awesome service and fantastic food! Excellent location to get dinner before attending events at Capital One arena, with parking right beneath the restaurant. Warning huge quantities of food! The entrees truly do serve at least 4 people.

Even after looking online at the menu, we were not prepared for the food to be served "family style," and each dish made to serve 3-5 people. This may explain why the prices are not listed on their website. We ordered the eggplant parm, and I would only give it a 2 out of 5 rating. It was big, I'll give you that, but it had no flavor and was mushy. The breadbasket was full of a variety of different tasty choices. Our waiter was excellent and the drinks were very good.
