The Carriage House Restaurant in the F.M. Kirby Carriage House is open for Pre-Performance and Post-Matinee dining. Two Course Prix Fixe lunch and Three Course Prix Fixe dinners are available two and half hours prior to most Main Stage Performances and after all Matinee Performances at the Paper Mill Playhouse. Reservations are strongly recommended. Check PaperMill.org for scheduling and ticket availability. Sample Menus are linked on PaperMill.org/Restaurant.

An eclectic a la carte menu and desserts is available only in the Bar and Loft area; walk up service recommended for our bar areas, reservations available. Our full bar offers premium spirits, fresh fruit sangria, and a stunning selection of interesting wines by the glass or bottle.

We selected from the Mystic Pizza menu. The Portuguese kale and linguica soup and Atlantic cod were top notch. My companion had the clams and lamb stew, also delectable. Truly enjoyed our dinner!

The food was good but the portions were small. The salad was literally enough for four bites. The codfish was also very small although very tasty. Clearly, when I saw the portions from other diners, I thought you ran out of the codfish! The server was wonderful and we were well taken care of but the chef should be cognizant of the amount of food on the plate.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and value of the food. My husband had the octopus salad and the steak and eggs The steak was perfectly cooked and octopus was plentiful, tender and delicious. I had the kale salad and the New England clam chowder pot pie. Both were delicious just the right portion. Our waitress was friendly, professional and attentive. A great experience overall.

There is no rival in terms of early parking and proximity to the Paper Mill Theater. The restaurant is lovely. Very old world and with a wonderful fireplace on each level. The service was excellent (especially Ashley!). The food was very good for the most part. The cod "fritters" were more a sort of mini fish cake than a fried dish. The pastas were very salty. The duck and lamb stew were excellent. I think the rolls should be warm.

Can’t be more convenient when going to show. Food and drinks were very good. Service by Giovanna was exceptional as always Recommend clams and cod for mystic pizza show

Dinner was great. Very convenient to the Playhouse. Avoid late rush for parking.

Wow. Pre-theater menu did not disappoint. Fresh and delicious food. Unique cocktails. Exceptional service. And the fireplace in one of the dining rooms added to the comfortable, relaxing ambiance.

We always enjoy dinner before a show at the PaperMill. It’s never disappointing. The choice of appetizers and entrees. Desserts and drinks are fashioned after the play being performed and it’s fun.

Wonderful experience before the play Mystic Pizza. Food and service were excellent. A little pricey, but you pay for quality. Highly recommended. just a note on the wines listed in the pre fix menu. They only list three wines but they do have an extensive wine list with much more reasonable prices. The white listed in the prefix menu was $71, which is much too much to pay for a bottle of white wine that retails for around $25. And added benefit of dining there before a show is that you are able to access very convenient parking. Nice to just walk out of the restaurant and into the theater.
