                  Overall service was not very good. it was busy however that should not stop the server from coming back to check on the table throughout the night. Soft drinks were empty and not refilled. After 11 minutes, I had to flag the server and ask for a refill. We were celebrating a birthday. When the server was informed, she said she knew and would be providing something at the desert time. When desert was ordered by the others in the party, the server looked at me for my desert order. I asked, is there a "Birthday" desert? she responded, oh yeah. She came back with what I believe was "bread pudding". Honestly, I dont know what it was but it was bland nor was it a menu desert item. Suggestion, don't serve this. If that is all you can provide after $175 table meal, don't bother. We have been to other restaurants and they provide an item from their desert menu. Prime rib ordered was tough. It will be awhile before I go back.

                  Filet cooked perfectly, service was excellent, and the prices were a bargain compared to other steak houses. Will definitely return.

                  We dined on a Tuesday and were surprised by the Tuesday Menu prices. Great food reasonable prices. Excellent service. We told them it was our daughters birthday and they brought out delicious brown bread pudding

                  Hey, we eat there almost every month for a birthday party of our birthday group. One of us is always eating free, and treated to a great evening. The service is always great, we’re remembered,and our favorite cocktails are even known. It’s usually red meat, but their other entrees are just as delicious and served just right. We keep coming back because the ambience, the food, the service, and the feeling of being welcomed and known for us has been unmatched in San Diego.

                  We had an excellent dinner at Carvers! We started with cocktails and wine. For entrees we had the early special, 2 of us had the filet and 1 of us the prime rib with the sides. The price for the early special is great!

                  Carvers never disappoints. Service was excellent, food was perfect and delicious and the atmosphere was great for an enjoyable evening. Two of us had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfect, someone had the prime rib, also cooked perfect and someone had the lamb chops and also cooked perfect. The salads and sides were delicious.
