                  We have been to Carvers many times. Outstanding service and food. Prices a little heavy on certain items but not a deal breaker. The restaurant has a great ambiance...not too big and not too small. Very comfortable decor and surroundings. One complaint this time around. I had a beautiful looking Peppercorn topped NY Steak but it had major area of tough chewing. I didn't complain because what I DID eat, was very tasty and tender. Plus, it was Christmas Eve and I didn't want to bring up any negatives. We'll definitely be back...but I just won't have the steak. Sometimes there are stumbling blocks to complete satisfaction. They have other superior items on the menu from A to Z. Until next time.... D. L. Busch

                  My family and I have been going here for years! Always the best and high quality steaks, food and the servers always friendly and just an overall great experience.

                  Overall the food was good except my ribeye was a poor cut. I was able to eat about half of it, remaining was tendon or fat. I was a bit surprised, since ribeye is a great choice for steak. The remainder of our meal was pleasant. We had an 8pm seating and the restaurant float 8:30. It was hard to get on point service, but overall it was adequate. Most of the staff focused on closing vs service. The price was good for the meal. Overall the meal was fine, but I’m not going back anytime soon.

                  The best steakhouse in North County. Warm and inviting atmosphere and excellent wait staff. The food is always outstanding! Never disappointed.

                  As can be expected on Dec. 19th it was crowded and very noisy. But service was good, and food was excellent. Glad we had made reservations.

                  My boyfriend and I came here for an early Christmas dinner and it was amazing! I got the filet trio and it was some of the best steak I ever had. Definitely worth coming here and I would absolutely come again.

                  Overall service was not very good. it was busy however that should not stop the server from coming back to check on the table throughout the night. Soft drinks were empty and not refilled. After 11 minutes, I had to flag the server and ask for a refill. We were celebrating a birthday. When the server was informed, she said she knew and would be providing something at the desert time. When desert was ordered by the others in the party, the server looked at me for my desert order. I asked, is there a "Birthday" desert? she responded, oh yeah. She came back with what I believe was "bread pudding". Honestly, I dont know what it was but it was bland nor was it a menu desert item. Suggestion, don't serve this. If that is all you can provide after $175 table meal, don't bother. We have been to other restaurants and they provide an item from their desert menu. Prime rib ordered was tough. It will be awhile before I go back.
