Casa Orinda has been serving the finest Western and Italian food in the area for the past 84 years. We are famous for our fried chicken, prime beef, and classic Italian pasta, chicken, and veal dishes -- everything being made from scratch in our kitchen using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.

Everyone loved their food. My chicken was overdone, but that is not the usual for Casa. It is a great "Old" Orinda vibe restaurant.

We were a party of 7 last night and all the entrees were fabulous as always. Our group enjoyed the pork chops, the fried chicken and tournedos of beef and everyone ordered the lemon pie for dessert. Casa is so reliably delicious it never disappoints. Special shout out to our bartender who made our bourbon cocktails she made us all happy with her friendly service and excellent cocktails.

In an ever-changing world, Casa Orinda is a long-time consistent performer in quality, food, cocktails and service. Yes, it is old school and an experience to be savored. A dinner companion commented in surprise at being served sourdough bread and butter without an additional charge. How welcoming. All of our cocktails and dishes were well prepared and of course the reputation for the crisp fried chicken and succulent prime rib is well deserved. Service was authentic and professional. Take time to enjoy the western art and time-ago photographs on all the walls.

Table in the lounge as requested. All entrees as promised. Excellent cocktails and wine list updated / improved. One of the best places on the East side of the tunnel. BYW - great valet parking

Excellent food and impeccable service (our server was the best!) Even the valet guys were great! Can’t believe I was born and raised nearby and hadn’t heard of this place until recently (Halloween special on Channel 7) and been there til now! Thanks so much for accommodating such a large party! Already looking forward to my next visit!
