CATCH 15 Italian Kitchen + Oyster Bar, inspired by Italian passion and generosity, offers a slice of Manhattan right in the heart of downtown DC--perfect for lunch, dinner, happy hour and brunch. In true Italian fashion, we rely on fresh ingredients. Our pasta is made fresh in house daily. Our fish and seafood are locally caught and delivered daily.
We offer a great Italian menu, featuring the purest ingredients and age-old techniques to create sophisticated Italian appetizers, Sicilian focaccia pizzas and entrees, most notably our lamb shank ossobucco—unlike anywhere in the city!
Our oyster bar offers a bi-coastal variety of freshly shucked oysters & shellfish, and our bartenders man a first-rate bar with hand-crafted cocktails and a notable beer & wine list.

Made a reservation for today (August 25, 2018) at 6:30pm only to arrive and find the restaurant was closed!!! No note on the door, doors locked and all the lights turned off!! This was a true disappointment since the reservation was to celebrate an upcoming anniversary. Honestly speaking, I’m not sure if I’d make another attempt to visit this restaurant based on this initial experience.

We arrived at Catch 15 for our 7pm reservation at 6:50. The door was locked; the lights were out; there was no sign of any human presence. No note on the door. Nothing! That was Friday; this is Tuesday. No note of explanation, let alone apology. What is the story, folks? We loved your restaurant. We will be back if you are open. Please let us know

The restaurant is closed and should be deleted from your database. There was no sign on the door or any other indication that it was closed - other than the locked door.

Outstanding service and delicious food. The manager Fessaha Gebraghio even came over and introduced himself to us, thanked us for dining, and gave us a complimentary drink he had created. An overall warm and inviting atmosphere and the food was wonderful. We will definitely dine here again.

This was my second time dining at Catch 15 and Oyster Bar. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was just right. I will continue to go back especially for those crab deviled eggs. I have been dreaming of them since Friday night.

Our waiter was not friendly. We felt rushed. The pasta was very good. The steak flavor was good but the meat was very, very chewy. Ordered med/rare and received bloody. As we paid the check we told the waiter about the chewiness of the steak and he ignored our comment. We asked him if he had heard us give our comment and he simply said “yes”...".......... Won’t be back.

I went for lunch with a former business colleague. I had the cavatelli al granchio. The "fresh hand rolled" cavatelli must have been rolled weeks ago as it was beyond al dente. The amount and quality of crabmeat left a lot to be desired as well, overall it was a very disappointing meal.
