No lager available on draught whatsoever, only bottle beer which was just as dear as a pint at £6 a bottle

I purchased afternoon tea vouchers so that we could celebrate my late father’s birthday; this was our first birthday without him. The staff at the venue were so kind and sympathetic and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The afternoon tea was very good value for money, beautifully presented and staff could not do enough. Even with a burst pipe in the Champagne Bar they managed the crisis seamlessly to ensure that everyone was safe and knew where to go. All In all a really lovely experience

Lovely experience celebrating my nieces 21st birthday, who really enjoyed her vegetarian afternoon tea and champagne.

We had afternoon tea earlier in the day which was excellent. Food was superb, and service fantastic. We have been to Champagne Central before and enjoyed it very much. I did buy a bottle of Moet and Chandon, Rose, which at £125 I did think was a tad expensive, seeing as a bottle of Veuve Clicquot was £80 back in February 2022 Would definitely recommend afternoon tea, and a drink in the evening

This is the 3rd time my friend have been for afternoon tea. The selection of savouries and cakes you get are delicious and very well presented

This was a 70th birthday celebration, I could have booked dinner at any restaurant in town, yet chose here, since my parents had a suite in the hotel. We were so disappointed with the quality of the food. Our starters were nice, but the mains were exceptionally poor quality. I ordered gnocchi, that I presumed, was served with a sauce, but instead I got a huge plate of ratatouille, with a few pieces of gnocchi added. My parents both ordered steak, my mum couldn't get her knife through it. They both struggled to cut the steak, but my mum's experience was worse, since she made a complaint and was told the steak knife was the problem. The restaurant was absolutely freezing too, which didn't help with making us feel comfortable. Service was extremely slow, considering we were one of only 4 tables, and last to leave. I had to make a complaint to the manager at the end, our main courses were removed from the bill, but this didn't fully compensate such an experience for my father's 70th. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience for such a special occasion.

Have been many times and food etc usually great however today the sandwiches were a little hard round the edges as if had been laying to long BUT the main fault of today was the place was freezing !!!! I do appreciate the temp outside was very low however the place was so cold it completely ruined the experience. I like others had to sit with my coat on and the gentleman in the next table asked about heating and was informed nothing could be done!!! There was one heater in the room that the staff had had there area which was of no benefit to the diners One lovely young waitress approached her senior after the gentleman complained again , we could all see the senior was not happy at the young girl asking could the heater be moved!! The senior reluctantly moved to accommodate the other table however this did not solve the problem for everyone else. I also complained and the same young lady was very apologetic as it was obvious she was embarrassed as she realised how cold it was ( it was actually to cold for staff to be working in) she also said she had asked for more heaters but there was none We would normally have sat longer and ordered more but today could not wait to leave and go to somewhere with some heat, due to this I doubt I would go back

we were served by a very efficient French waitress who was very courteous and polite. she really went out of her way to make sure we were warm and comfortable on a very cold day.

Overall nothing spectacular, food was nice we could have had more. Wasn't very warm in restaurant, my wife had to put her scarf back on. Service was very quick and very good.
