   Enjoyed our relaxing evening. Dinner was delicious as always. Had never eaten sheepshead glad I tried it. Chef Holly is so creative!

   We would give this place a 10 based on a max scale of 5. From 2 foodies that are highly critical of our dining experiences, Charley G’s went off the charts. Upscale dining at its best. We had a first reservation as we were headed to a concert. Terrific libations to start. Escargot appetizer with Salmon and Sea Bass entrees. Everything and everyone were spectacular. Thank you Chad and your support staff. Also the front end manager followed up with each table checking on satisfaction. We will return.

   Food was exceptional as always! Service was excellent. I’m never looking to take food home with me, being able to share a meal really opens the menu.

   We showed up to our 7:30 reservation excited to finally have a night out alone. A gentleman greets us and leads us to our seat. He puts us right by the kitchen expo. My wife politely said she would prefer not to sit there and asked if we could move to one of the 3 booths which were available. We wanted a better seat if possible. He quickly said “I can put you at a nice table in the bar area”. We proceeded to follow him to the bar area which also had multiple available table. He chose to seat us in a 2 top cocktail table. At this point my wife was clearly upset when he asked if this table was ok. He didn’t seem to care and walked off. Our waitress came over shortly after to greeted us. When she did my wife politely told her she didn’t want to order anything yet because she wasn’t sure we were going to stay. We were unhappy with the table offered. Instead of simply addressing the issue she said “ok. Let me know if you decide to order” and walked off. Shortly after we left and will likely never go back. We are not at all those people who are difficult to please. They weren’t insanely busy last night. They could’ve simply put us in one of the at least 5 other tables that were much more ideal for us. I don’t generally write reviews, but this really bothered me. The attitude we got was “you’ll take what you get and if you don’t like it too bad”. What happened to customer service? What happened to trying to please your customers? When you go to a restaurant of this caliber and spend that much on a meal you at the very least expect to be treated with a little respect.

Many of our guests are regular diners with us who have seating preferences. We always do our best to honor each and every guest request. The night that you dined with us we did have reservations on all of our booths, during the time you visited us or booked shortly after at 8pm. We understand your disappointment in not having the evening you had anticipated. We'd like to send you a gift card and invite you to return, along with a member of our team making a reservation for you at your preferred table.    Wait staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Portions were a bit on the smaller side for the price point, but a good mix of options and everything was delicious. Atmosphere was lively and festive for a celebratory meal. We would eat there again and do recommend it.
