                                              From the start the experience was so good! The setting of the restaurant overlooking the vineyard and beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains was worth the trip! Then the friendly staff greeted us and we were at our perfectly appointed table within minutes. The dining areas are rustic and beautiful. Our server, Sadie was friendly and knowledgeable with a response for every question making it obvious that she not only eats but enjoys the food there. Her recommendation was on point! She was nice and funny. The food was great! We had 2 appetizers, the cheese balls and mussels, cooked to perfection! I had the blackened salmon and he had the cheeseburger-also cooked to perfection! After we enjoyed their 2 chocolate desserts, they were okay. I had the soup of the day also but I don’t remember what it was-it was OUTSTANDING! We both enjoyed “Our DogBlue” as our wine choice-a favorite!

                                              We were seated quickly. Service was good. Shrimp & Grits was one of the best my husband has ever eaten. Complimentary wine tasting. Haven’t been in years, great to be back for lunch.

                                              We love the winery and the restaurant at Chateau Morrisette. The location is beautiful. The staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. The food is always dellicious. The view is amazing. We also love the dogs ❤️

                                              We have a vacation home in Fancy Gap and had friends up over the weekend. We really appreciate having a place like this to take friends to and have a very good meal. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent.

                                              This location is a slight challenge to travel, but very well worth the trip. We arrived as the sun was setting, and a more gorgeous sunset vista would be hard to find. The view from our table was absolutely magnificent. The ambience was lovely and this is the perfect special night celebration location. The food was very good and the filet steak was better than most that I have had in high end steakhouses and cooked to perfection. The Morrissette Dry Dog red wine was actually quite good, which surprised me as I find most East Coast wines too sweet for my tastes. Unfortunately for me, I was too full to have dessert, but the selection was quite tempting. All in all, I would really like to return whenever visiting Virginia again.
