Chef Oshie is the third generation of the Morrisette family and trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, where he explored his passion for food and wine.     From June through October, there is free entertainment on the Winery Courtyard every Sunday. January through March, free concerts are held inside above the Tasting Room every Sunday from 1-4. The winery hosts two Black Dog Music Festivals annually featuring nationally known bands. Reservations are highly recommended during these events. Check the website often for special dining events at the restaurant.

                                              Château Morissette is a true gem! I’ve visited twice, and each time the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. The stunning mountain views add to the serene atmosphere, making it a perfect dining experience. The staff are warm and welcoming, enhancing every visit with their friendly service. Highly recommend!

                                              Chateau Morrisette is my favorite winery in Virginia. We have dined there several times and never disappointed. We went today and it was fairly quiet business wise. It was a group of 4 and Chris, our waiter was fantastic. He clearly understood my allergies to nuts, seeds and my alpha-gal. The food was amazing and prepared with my safety in mind. We are planning to go back a little more often. A great place for a nice quiet lunch.

                                              My friend and I were so happy that the restaurant is open again. Such a beautiful setting and the restaurant is lovely and comfortable with a fireplace! It is expensive but, to me, it's a treat to dine in such a unique and special place. The view of the mountains is fabulous! I gave the food three stars because the Brussel sprouts were undercooked and they didn't have the sweet potato ravioli. Overall, I gave it a 5 star rating.

                                              Lovely location in the mountains. And the food is delicious! It was a wonderful New Year’s Eve option for us. Everything was perfect!
