Not much has changed since George Washington frequented Campbell’s Tavern for its delicious seafood in the 18th century. Dig in to locally sourced shrimp, scallops, and fish, and be sure to try Christiana’s famous Crab Cakes, Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Muffins and Spoon Bread.
The street address is 101 S. Waller Street, with ample parking behind the tavern.

    It was ALL fabulous. We felt like we stepped back in time. Our waitress was amazing. She knew all the answers to our questions and was very efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Thank you for a great experience.

    Great server that actually had a personality! Great food from actual Colonial recipes. Period costume on everyone made it feel like you stepped back into the 18th century. If you haven't been, go. It's costly, but worth it!

    The Valentine’s dinner was absolutely fantastic! Everything about the meal, the staff and the restaurant was very special. I travel by myself and was very grateful they allowed me to book this event for one person. Many special dining events do not allow this. Thank you Christiana Campbell’s Tavern!

    We enjoyed a delicious Valentines dinner at Christina Campbell's. The service was great and the food was nicely prepared. Both of us enjoyed a dinner with half of a Maine lobster. The, the lobster claws contain some of the most tasty and largest portions of meat, but we were not given a nutcracker or any other utensil to help open the claw. I eventually succeeded in prying open the shell with my fork, but it was a struggle, and I bent the tines on the fork in the process. Other than that struggle, the meal was great. The strawberry Tiramisu for dessert is a real winner.

    Spoon Bread was luke warm and dry. No balladeer so it was a non-18th Century experience.
