A memorable dining experience awaits you as you enter the Christy Hill Restaurant in the center of Tahoe City. The restaurant sits on the shoreline of Lake Tahoe on an elevated embankment offering diners a panoramic vista. The intimate setting offers guests a view that is only upstaged by the cuisine, wine and service. Spectacular sunsets that can be seen from every table is just one of the many reasons that Christy Hill was voted "Most Romantic Restaurant" and "North Lake Tahoe's Iconic Restaurants with World-Class Views" by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Executive Chef, Luis Vallin, focuses on sustainability and innovation, supporting local merchants and farmers. The thoughtful and playful menu pays homage to the tradition of Christy Hill while continuing to uplift and propel the cuisine and restaurant into exciting new territory.

    Outstanding. Far and away the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Christy Hill was recommended to us by a top chef who worked in area restaurants for 13 years — and he was right. Beautiful setting, lovely presentation, and absolutely delicious. Toques off to the Christy Hill chef and staff!

    Amazing service and delicious food, perfect restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It is very popular and not very big so make your reservation ahead of time.

    Perfection! Really can’t remember a better meal. Live music, nice ambience , a little hard to hear across the table but the service and food were superb.

    Loved this place. The food was outstanding. My hanger steak was exceptionally tender, and the hollandaise with sea urchin was a revelation. Our party also had the duck, the scallops, and the sea bass, and they were all excellent. For dessert, we particularly enjoyed the mushroom-flavored ice cream (!). Great place!

    Fabulous evening, our new favorite restaurant (by far) in all of Lake Tahoe!! Food and service were fantastic! We loved our scallop & steak entrees!

    The Staff was so friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming and polished without being stuffy and the food was fantastic with a fun wine list and knowledgable Somm to boot.

    Our dinner experience from checkin to dessert was fantastic. Greeted with smiles and acknowledging the birthday celebration, being seated near the window with a gorgeous view started off the relaxing evening. We started with ahi crudo, bread and lovey kir royale and Negroni. Our entrees were flavorful and the right temperature when delivered. Skirt steak, sea bass and truffle ravioli…just delightful. 27th. Desserts of afergato, bread pudding and French press ended the meal. Fantastic service and attn to detail.
