Cielo, is a Steak and Seafood Restaurant that celebrates a distinctly comfortable, Californian approach to fine dining. Each dish, inspired by traditional steak and seafood fare, showcases the fresh flavors of California’s farm produce and presents it with a playful sense of humor. Known for its warm, accommodating service, Cielo is a special dining experience with a casual touch. Cielo is nestled in California’s Cabazon Valley, 20 miles west of Palm Springs, and in between the spectacular San Gorgonio and San Jacinto mountain ranges. Located on the 27th floor of the Morongo Resort and Casino, Cielo is set aglow with stunning chandeliers. Cielo is quite literally a jewel at the top of the Morongo Resort and Casino.

It was crowded and we could not wait in the bar. That was disappointing but the views ambiance service and food were among the best. Try to go when there is sunlight, the views are absolutely other worldly.

Redemption. I sent in a review on 11-24-24 and rated it 3 stars. I was extremely disappointed that night with the food. However, I returned on 12-28-24 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food and service were excellent. We had the Tomahawk Steak that was cooked perfectly. Each bite was delicious. The garlic shrimp and buttered rolls were amazing. The Brussels sprouts were tasty according to my daughter. Each server that came to our table was friendly. Each one of them were interesting and had unique personalities. Thanks again for making the night special.

Waited over an hour (about 1 hr and 40 min) for our food. Our service was fair. Our sever was unprofessional and making smart comments. For example: that's alot of food being order, that's alot bags to take food home. Server name: JC (Jarrett, something like that). 2nd server was professional and great: Myles.

Excellent dining experience. Wait staff very knowledgeable on all menu items. Quality was almost perfect. Nice room with wonderful views. Nice wine list and an amazing martini. Highly recommend.

Cielo is a beautiful restaurant. We went after dark so we didn’t have much of a view and that was ok, the ambiance inside made up for it. Jared our server was great and the filet was amazing. We can’t wait to go back!
