Cielo, is a Steak and Seafood Restaurant that celebrates a distinctly comfortable, Californian approach to fine dining. Each dish, inspired by traditional steak and seafood fare, showcases the fresh flavors of California’s farm produce and presents it with a playful sense of humor. Known for its warm, accommodating service, Cielo is a special dining experience with a casual touch. Cielo is nestled in California’s Cabazon Valley, 20 miles west of Palm Springs, and in between the spectacular San Gorgonio and San Jacinto mountain ranges. Located on the 27th floor of the Morongo Resort and Casino, Cielo is set aglow with stunning chandeliers. Cielo is quite literally a jewel at the top of the Morongo Resort and Casino.

Many many changes. I come a few times a year for special occasions and I can say this year there was a lot of changes. No more complimentary bread basket, even the cheaper restaurants offer this. Lobster Mac and cheese was one of my faves but the recipe seems to have changed. Won’t be ordering again. No more writing on desserts for special occasions. Something so simple and special taken away. Our server could have been a lot more attentive. Saw her go to other tables several times while we stayed without a drink for half an hour. It was very obvious for whatever reason she was not coming to us. At this point the only thing bringing me back is the combination of the filet mignon and the butter cake. Safe to say if one goes i won’t be going back.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Cielo Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The Ribeye Bone-In Steak was prepared to perfection—exactly how I requested—and each bite was packed with incredible flavor. Their new Cowboy Corn was a standout—fresh, delicious, and a welcome addition to the menu. The Sea Bass was another highlight—perfectly cooked, flaky, and flavorful, with enough to share. Beyond the food, the overall atmosphere was wonderful. The live singer had a mellow, soothing voice and performed an enjoyable selection of songs that enhanced the experience without overpowering the conversation. If you haven’t been to Cielo Restaurant yet, do yourself a favor and check it out! Be sure to try the steak, the new menu items, and enjoy the perfect balance of great food and live music. Highly recommend! I thought I got pictures but apparently it didn’t save

Enrique was our server. He was amazing at reciting the menu specials in detail. He made our dining experience lovely. The ambience was magnificent and the food was as well.

This place was AMAZING - food was perfect and yummy and our waiter, Enrique was terrific. We enjoyed a delicious cocktail and perfect meal. The space was everything! Make a reservation and ENJOY.

From the warm welcome by the hostess to the kind gentleman who seated us, and from Jared, our wonderful server, to the attentive young man who ensured our food was hot and our glasses were never empty—every moment was delightful! We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience.
