   We went during Saturday brunch. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away in the quiter section of the restaurant. The main part of the restaurant was pretty full, but it wasn't overly loud. We did have to wait longer than normal for someone to come and take our order, but the food was fantastic, and everyone was super mice. The server was very apologetic about the wait and gave us a free shot for our troubles.

   Our kids love this restaurant and it manages to achieve the rare combination of feeling like a special night out for the parents, but still family friendly. Love the bread, appetizer and grilled octopus and the cocktails are always spot on. And it sure doesn't hurt that the kid's meal comes with a free scoop of gelato!

   I think this is our new favourite restaurant in oak park. We had a truly delicious meal (shout out to the branzino special) and the staff were so friendly. Wish we could have ordered everything on the menu. Looking forward to the next time already.

   A friend and I went there to celebrate our birthdays and really enjoyed it. Our server was great, and the food and drink were exceptional. In the large room by the bar, many tables were full and we thought the noise level might get too high, so we asked for a quieter area and were taken to a booth in a different room, which was perfect.

   We had a fantastic evening at Citrine. # couples convened from different parts of the country so we had a late reservation. Our waitperson (Laura) was top notch, giving detailed, guidance on wines, patiently pacing our ordering and making us feel like she was only interested in our enjoyment of the evening. We were the last group remain in the restaurant, but were still offered a complimentary Limoncello after we had asked for our check. If u r in Oak Park, definitely recommend at least one meal at Citrine.

   What a great brunch! The food was wonderful, the drinks even better. The service was impeccable. We will return.

   We've been going to Citrine for over two years and love the place. The staff is always welcoming & very knowledgeable/helpful regarding the food and drink menu, and the food is outstanding. We do, however, miss our favorite bartender, Matthew. We got to know Matthew over the past couple of years, and always looked forward to his smile and hello when we sat down at the bar. Matthew had a talent for recommending the perfect Friday night cocktail, always spot on. His recommendation of a wine pairing to go with the meal was also thoughtful and delicious. Matthew will be an asset to any organization that he joins. While we do miss Matthew, we still love going to Citrine.

    Wonderful food - loved the mussels (a special, tonight) and also old favorites-gnocchi, steak, calamari. Service was attentive and made us feel special.
