City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill offers a varied menu including delicious hearth baked pizza, dry aged steaks, housemade fresh pasta and seafood. Some of our more popular dishes are Gulf Shrimp & Sea Scallops, Prime Flat Iron, and our signature housemade pasta dishes. The menu also features a daily selection of hard to find artisanal cheeses & charcuterie. The desserts are all enticing, all house made and all delicious. Our live jazz brunch is the best on the island. The restaurant features a huge award winning wine collection that can be sampled by the bottle, glass or "flight." City Cellar has been named one of The Top Ten Long Island Restaurants by Newsday and called "A sure thing" by The New York Times.

I have bee here many times and have really enjoyed this place in the past. I unfortunately felt rushed by the server this Christmas Eve while I have been here last year Christmas Eve and truly enjoyed my experience in 2023. I am a seasoned and and older customer and expect the quality and service associated with fine dining and what I experienced did not shadow my past.

Food and Service was very good. The restaurant was very busy but our waitress - Brie - was excellent - friendly and attentive. Overall this is a great place for a family meal.

Very good salads that we each had for lunch. Loved sitting in a big booth. Always enjoy lunch or brunch here!

Restaurant served food I was not able to eat. My server did not know the difference between lemon potatoes and roasted potatoes. The person who brought out the food coughed all over it as he was serving us. The manager, Ahmad was rude and not understanding. This place is over priced with terrible service .

The food was subpar. Salmon was dry and needed a sauce. Clam chowder was not hot and there were pieces of clear shell. Salad was supposed to have sopressata there was none and portion of hangar steak was tiny. The best thing was the macaroni and cheese and the chianti.

The salmon was delicious!! Best salmon I’ve had in a while. Cooked perfectly!! While our waitress was very nice, I felt we were rushed. Our entrees came out almost immediately after serving our apps. We should have said something but did not. So in order to enjoy our entrees while hot, we switched to eat our main meal, then they wanted to clear away our uneaten apps in order to serve our desert. Every table that was seated before us was still there when we left so it’s not like we were there forever and since it was raining, there were a number of tables that remained empty so don’t understand why we were rushed. Still overall a very delicious meal. Would definitely go back. Just would not order dessert at same time as ordering apps and main entree.

Although my meal was extremely salty( pastrami ) . The ambience was enjoyable and my friends butternut squash ravioli was superb ! Great place to meet friends . The wait staff was great!

We always enjoy this restaurant. We don't eat meat but the salads, fish entrees and pastas are beautifully prepared and delicious. Friendly service. Beautiful desserts. Great bar.
