In a casual yet elegant atmosphere, set in a recently remodelled century old historic train station, Claire's passion is great food and outstanding service. Offering contemporary American cuisine - local, seasonally focused - with a Southern flaire. The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings. A rotating selection of craft beers is available on tap, and the wine service is regularly expanded. Outdoor dining is available in season, and private events can be hosted in one of several areas in the restaurant. Awarded "Best of Warrenton" every year since 2006.

                                        This is a charming converted railroad depot restaurant with amazing quiche and interesting food. We had country ham and cheese quiche, which was fluffy and delicious with a flaky crust, Jack Daniels shrimp which were perfectly cooked, and their hamburger, which was a little overdone for us.

                                        Our server was excellent. We were disappointed at the over cooked bread pudding dessert, and the special Ribeye was not as good as a week ago. These did not seem as up to normal Claire’s quality.

                                        The ambience is very nice and service was great. The food was good and presentation was attractive. It was not a 3 Michelin Star restaurant but was very nice.

                                        Food was exceptional. I had crab and shrimp and my wife had a butternut squash dish. Amazing. Brenda V. was our server and made our birthday luncheon special. Even had a birthday candle on our bread pudding dessert. Perfect! Thank you!

                                        We love Claire at the depot, but would’ve preferred to not have the table right by the bar. It takes away from the ambiance

                                        Always a pleasure to spent time dining there. Staff is welcoming, the service is great, and the food is always top notch. The go to in Warrenton.

                                        Small, but balanced menu selection for lunch. Steak Frites was among the best we have had. Likewise about the She-crab soup. The pumpkin soul was superb. The garden salad with grilled salmon was excellent. The beet salad with goat cheese and chicken was good and healthy. The cod on grits was a delightful surprise. Amaretto cake with shaved almonds made for a light and tasty finish, with coffee. Service was a bit inattentive, but responsive. The food makes this a place you should want to visit, or to revisit.
