In a casual yet elegant atmosphere, set in a recently remodelled century old historic train station, Claire's passion is great food and outstanding service. Offering contemporary American cuisine - local, seasonally focused - with a Southern flaire. The renovation honors the historic character of the Warrenton Train Depot, resulting in a warm, comfortable environment for casual meetings with friends, or special occasions and intimate family meals. The warm, elegant Garden Room provides seating for intimate meals, while the Tavern Room features a more casual dining experience in luxurious surroundings. A rotating selection of craft beers is available on tap, and the wine service is regularly expanded. Outdoor dining is available in season, and private events can be hosted in one of several areas in the restaurant. Awarded "Best of Warrenton" every year since 2006.

    Went to Claire’s for a Valentine’s Dinner with wine pairing. I was not disappointed. Great food, service, ambience & wine. Will return!

    We had a wonderful Valentine’s experience at Claire’s. The She Crab soup was delicious and temperature appropriate, fresh salads, and both the lobster and filet with accompaniments were delicious. The meal ended with a choice of a variety of enticing desserts and a glass of bubbly. Our server was fantastic. She was attentive without being intrusive. When asked, her advice was spot on. It definitely exceeded our expectations and look forward to going back.

    Perfect Valentine’s Day lunch. We requested and received a table by the large windows. The service was excellent, the food was beyond delicious. It has the reputation of being the best restaurant in Warrenton, and it truly is!

    Food was excellent and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Rated lower due to lackluster service. Server was Jeff V. We have dined at Claire's multiple times for special occasions and this is worst service we ever received. Was husband's birthday and Hostess was only one who acknowledged it, previous visits usually had server mention and special dessert provided. Took long time to even be greeted, server was slow and not personable or engaging, did absolute minimum and added nothing to experience. Came back to ask us to repeat our order because he forgot. Five star food, five star price, two star service.

    Claire's never disappoints! From the greeters to Laurie, our always fabulous server, everyone is very warm and makes customers feel like old friends. the food of course is the star and is star worthy. Naturally, one cannot go to Claire's without starting the everning with the She Crab Soup - it rivals the offerings in Charleston!. We both had the Rockfish special - truly special. And the butternut squash puree was something new and a great accompanyment. Because it's Valentines dinner, we splurged on our calorie budget and had desert - Creme Brulee and Mixed Berry cobler. What a great finish. We always appreciate Claires and continue to recommend it to our friends.

    Lot's of crowd noise but no music so we could actually talk. Food was good not great. Shrimp pasta was a bit bland. Wife liked her fish special a lot. Had a reservation and were seated promptly. DO NOT expect to walk in and get a table Make a reservation well in advance. We will go back.
