Very nice selection selection of entrees and appetizers. Great crab soup - cup is $6 and mahi mahi entree in pistachio sauce was delicious.

The food was amazing, just what we had hoped for. Southern seafood with flare and large portions. Our server was new, but attentive. The location is authentic, vaulted ceilings are neat. It was a little chilly inside but overall we would def go again.

Rainy did an outstanding job serving us! Food was great. Location was perfect. Atmosphere was fun, historic, and inviting.

Fried seafood and crab dip was delicious. Other entree’s were a little disappointing. Seared tuna had too much soy sauce, didn’t love the sauce with the crab stuffed flounder, and baja fish tacos would have been better with fried fish.

Ordered the chef special oysters that were described as the larger ones but could barely see two of them. Had to ask for silverware three times before finally getting some. Ordered the Tuna rare but came medium well at best. Also the fish special over cooked. Overall not a great experience and probably won’t go back.

My wife and I had the she crab soup which was one of the best we ever had! She had the swordfish which was good. I had the fried shrimp and fried oyster combination and it was excellent. We shared a dessert chocolate mousse also excellent. We dine at Coast every time we are seeing a show at the Charleston Music Hall which is next door to Coast. We go to CMH between 4 and 8 times per year.

Fun atmosphere, great for a group of friends. Food is hearty Southern fare which gives you a good taste of Lowland cuisine. Although busy we had very good service.

The food was either bland or drenched in sauce. My friend ordered the seared tuna at the server’s recommendation. It was a brown lump served over another brown lump covered in a gelatinous green sauce. It was so unappealing to the eye. The service was also poorly timed with entrees arriving while we still had appetizers in front of us. Overall poor experience. Definitely not worth the money.
