At our restaurant we create and interpret the culinary ideas inspired from different cultures, products, and techniques. Our always evolving menu is a result of the interaction and interchange of different experiences.

Historically cooking evolved through the interaction and exchange of cultures. Through this premise and advances in technology our project, Cocina Abierta, was born, designed for the sharing and development for our passion.

We had an amazing experience for my fiancé’s birthday. I feel so bad, we forgot our server’s name, but she was amazing. Described each dish wonderfully and helped steer us in the right direction when we were unsure. Each dish was so unique and tasty. We tried things we never usually would have.

The 5 course tasting menu was tremendous! Great atmosphere, stellar food and a very professional and friendly staff.

It was one of the best meals we have ever had. Creative yet not pretentious- and absolutely delicious. Not inexpensive but worth the splurge!

We loved the food and the service. Very interesting and creative menu and something for everyone - whether vegetarian or meat lover. Highly recommend it. Service outstanding.

My husband and I had a great experience at Cocina Abierta. I’m so glad we decided to do the tasting menu. It came with 5 courses and all the foods were super delicious. In addition, the service was wonderful. All the staffs were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and if you go, don’t hesitate to do the tasting menu. You won’t regret it 😉

The food and service surpassed our expectations- a tasting menu/gourmet experience but with all local twists on Puerto Rican cuisine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! We ate outside along the somewhat busy road, so would opt for indoor dining next time. Great menu (both food and drink), exceptional service, and will definitely be back.

Amazing experience. Excellent service, we oh dered off menu rather than doing the tasting menu. Every single dish is exceeded expectations. Go ! You will not be disappointed!

With a complex changing menu like this, you want your server to fully describes dishes, make you fall in love with the concept but it wasnt like that. Our server brought the prologue (appetizer) before explaining that if you order the “maridaje de vinos” it doesn’t include a drink for the prologue so we ate the croquetas with a glass of water. That was terrible. Two out of the five course entrees where very good, 2 were okay and one of them was actually very bad. The ambience and the concept is great but extremely overpriced for the overall experience. At some point a small worm fell on out table but we don’t know where it came from, we didn’t say anything to the server but wow…Would not recommend.
