   Columbia Restaurant at Sand Key never disappoints. The traditional style Spanish cuisine is reminiscent of my family’s home style cooking. The ropa vieja was full of flavor and the chicken Valencia was made to perfection and included tangy vegetables and yellow rice. Not to mention the pitchers of white sangria were the perfect accompaniment to a fantastic dinner. Cannot forget the 1905 salad which is Columbia staple and is my personal favorite!!!! Super delicious!

    It was Mother’s Day so very it was extremely busy. We were seated when we arrived for our reservation. The waitress seemed very tired and wasn’t as attentive as she could have been. The Sangria made at the table seemed to be missing something. It wasn’t as good as past visits. We had to wait for bread until 3/4 of our salad had been eaten. The main courses were good and as ordered. Overall acceptable but $200 for 3 people seemed a little excessive. Probably will go to Ybor on a week night next time.
