Located on 14 East 47th Street (between Madison & 5th), Connolly's Pub & Restaurant is a family owned and operated traditional Irish pub conveniently located in the heart of midtown and minutes away from Grand Central Station & The Rockefeller Center. Connolly's Pub & Restaurant has come to be known as NYC's premier venue for great food in a traditional Irish atmosphere. With 50 different beers to choose from, we offer a unique environment for happy hour, business functions, family gatherings and alumni reunions.                                                                                                                                             The bar was a fun place, but not necessarily a sports bar that we were hoping for. Nothing against them at all I just had unmet expectations. Guinness was fabulous, of course.

                                                                                                                                            Lunch is easy and reliable at Connolly's. Service is excellent and food is solid. One of the only really good places to sit down and get a good lunch without breaking the bank in the Grand Central area.

The ambiance would have been better if we were seated in the front. In the back, we were the only table, aside from our server eating lunch in a different booth.

Not the best service and opportunity missed by the staff. Really friendly enough and once our order was taken - drinks and food were out quickly after. But from then on we didn’t get any service, no offer more drinks (which we would have had) or offer of desert. Ended up just walking up to pay after waiting for 15mins.

                                                                                                                                            As noted in my no show notification I showed up on time but there was a bar brawl happening as I got there with someone literally getting knocked out and lying on the floor for 15 minutes. Nobody called for help for this guy, who literally didn’t move for 10 minutes. It was awful.
