The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.



The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

                                                                                                        I have been coming to Cooperage for many years, and I can honestly state that the food is always delicious, always large portions, the wait staff is wonderful, always courteous and helpful. The whole expeirience is always over the top. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Also I love the new Grab and Go store in Mattituck, always a lifesaver when I don't know what to make for dinner.

                                                                                                        As always, Cooperage never disappoints. Great food, nice sized portions and attentive service. My wife and I dine there frequently as we feel it is a very comfortable restaurant to relax in and enjoy a good meal.

                                                                                                        My girlfriends and I had a very nice lunch. Of course we are high maintenance women with a ton of questions and requests and our server was excellent and handled every question and accommodate with a smile. The food was really good, they had specials that weren’t on the menu and a yummy egg nog cocktail too! I would def recommend!

                                                                                                        Food was ok, a bit pricey for what we got for lunch, tuna wrap had lots of lettuce and not much tuna. Burger was good, fluke sandwich was a bit dry, needed more remoulade to make it better. Drinks were are like NYC prices. Soups were good. Service was great, just thought that

                                                                                                        Ambiance 10 out of 10. Food very very good just a slight tick below 5 stars. Service good but slightly lacking, our water pitcher was never refilled despite all 3 of us drinking just water. Also charging for bread basket is below them.
