Coriander is a restaurant & a deli serving nutritious, unfussy and tasty food in true Capetonian style - anything goes and everything is made with care. Local ingredients are at center stage, with some exceptions - Coriander is famous for its ostrich steak & wildebeest burger. There is a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Where else can you experience the vibrancy and multi-cultural influences of South Africa in Brighton? Come and taste the Rainbow Nation! It's delicious and unique.
Visit the deli for amazing artisan chercuterie, the best of British and continental cheeses, fresh products, etc. The chefs are happy to help you with ideas and inspiration to cook at home. There is a little "library", a book shelf hand-built from sustainable ash, filled with international cookbooks for you to flick through whilst having coffee.

A lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a different twist. Will certainly be back.

The food is amongst the best we have had in Brighton and Hove and Coriander is a gem of a restaurant. The only problem was the place was all but empty on a Saturday night which does detract from the overall ambience of dining out.

A lovely, unpretentious and friendly place offering delicious and well thought out food. Perfect for our small group of vegetarian and non-vegetarians.

My partner and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, which , although the company was good, can't be all down to him! The menu was interesting and varied, the meal was very tasty, and the service was friendly and very 'natural'. We were unhurried. Although there were not many people dining there was still a lovely atmosphere. The chef/owner was very welcoming and appreciated our positive comments.
