   Everything on the menu looks delicious. We enjoyed the outstanding gazpacho, the delicious romaine salad with manchego, the wonderful red snapper served with jumbo lump crab and haricots verts, and one of the steaks, and everything was absolutely fabulous. It's quiet and dark and very European in feel. We will go back!

   One of the best restaurants in Houston! The soft shells were gigantic and worthy of being designated as whales. The ambience and service are tops as well.

   Probably my favorite restaurant in Houston--certainly in the Top 5. The menu changes seasonally, but is always varied and delicious. The cocktails, in particular, are inventive and fantastic--this spring's gin and tonic special, for example. involves frozen tonic pearls (like boba) and a lemon ice. It's almost like a dessert in texture and presentation, but not sweet. The service is extraordinary--attentive but not cloying. The waiter we had last night was good-natured, made sensible suggestions and offered details about different dishes that were informative, and was attuned to when we needed attention and when we did not. The appetizers are always worthwhile, and I've never had a dish that wasn't well prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious here.

   Another excellent experience at one of my favorite restaurants. The service was wonderful from the warm greeting (even though we arrived a few minutes before the restaurant formally opened) through dinner. The escargots and gazpacho were excellent. The only slight disappointment was the rabbit which was a bit drier than I remember it. However, the mustard sauce and pasta were excellent and they were so good together than we ordered an extra serving of it. The deserts were also very tasty.

   Exceptional food and service. The ambiance was nice with this cozy place. Nicolas was our server and was very attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations as this was our first visit. Started with champagne toast for our 43rd wedding anniversary celebration. Had shrimp pancakes for appetizer. Snapper with crabmeat was delicious along with the shrimp and scallops. Sangria topped it off and chocolate and toffee dessert made it perfect for the special night. The staff made the experience delightful and would recommend this restaurant and will return.     My husband and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. We always enjoy Costa Brava Bistro, but this night was near perfect. Our waiter, Colin, was exceptional and the Maitre'd was friendly, welcoming and greeted us with a happy anniversary wish. We also received a complimentary glass of champagne, which was very thoughtful. The food was fantastic as always. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a wonderful memory.
