Dine at Craft to experience Tom Colicchio’s signature ‘What's Local Is Best’ cooking with an always evolving collection of simply prepared dishes created to highlight high quality, seasonal ingredients. “Simple doesn’t mean simplistic,” Tom says in his book, Think Like a Chef, and the food at Craft serves as proof. Perennial favorites include pan-roasted diver scallops, braised beef short ribs, and a bounty of Greenmarket sides.
We also offer our a la carte dinner menu for takeaway through craftrestaurant.com & local delivery is powered by Caviar. *Unconfirmed reservations may be subject to cancellation.*

From the moment we walked in, the staff, ambience, food, and experience was excellent. Special appreciation goes out to our Captain, Brook, and Fayek (who’s worked there for 24 years!)

My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and his birthday, which is 2/13. They were aware of his birthday and the hostess said happy birthday, but nothing else was given after that. I don’t look for free stuff, but the server wasn’t ever aware it was a celebration for his birthday. We both had the 4 course tasting Valentine’s menu. We did not choose anything the same so we could sample as many dishes as possible. Everything we ordered had a good taste. Nothing was spectacular or wanting us to have it again. Everything was lukewarm at best. I understand on busy nights items aren’t always piping hot, but nothing was even warm to the touch, not even the celery root soup I ordered. The drink specials were tasty, and that was a highlight of the night. Our server was nice. Neither of us would recommend or even want to come back again. Obviously we have all had underwhelming Valentine’s dinners out, but we had a relatively early reservation and the place wasn’t near capacity. I expected better and I was disappointed. Our check without tip was $550 for the two of us. If you added the amount of protein we had together it probably didn’t add to 13 onces total. Definitely not worth the price.

Craft was a little bit of a disappointment. Most of the food was really good, especially the pasta. However, The octopus was overcooked, the steak was too rare and at this price point I expected better service. Our waiter barely checked in on us. The sommelier spent half our meal trying to locate wine but kept showing up empty handed. We felt ignored most of the time. For $800 for two people, I expected more. Could have been an off night.

We thoroughly enjoyed Craft! It was perfect from start to finish. Lovely ambience and relaxing noise level. Attentive and kind staff. The food was beautifully presented and delicious from the bread with a crisp crust and gorgeous butter to the burrata and pasta dishes. Will definitely be back.

It was a wonderful experience. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. We were treated as if we were the most important people in the place. We were offered generous guidance on both food and wine lists. All was memory-making. Cannot wait for my next visit.

Haven’t been to Craft in a while and it did not disappoint. From the starters to the main (we shared the strip), the meal was on point. We will definitely be back.
