Step back in time as you step through the door into our beautiful, dining room where New Orleans’ original sizzling steaks have been served since the doors opened in 1934. We offer prime, dry-aged beef that is cut in-house and cooked to your desire as well as seafood options. Our commitment to quality does not end in the kitchen.                                                                                                 Crescent City Steaks is now our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. We knew we were on the right place when we walked in and saw a police captain having dinner with his family. Then another guest asked for a specific server by name. That told us this was a place locals go. The food prices were very reasonable for the quality. Our filets were tender and delicious. They do it old school with bacon wrapped around the filet. The whole experience was the best. Thanks to the family for keeping this gem of a restaurant going.

                                                                                                This is one of the oldest "go-to" steak houses in NOLA. You will not find a more authentic landmark in town as far as restaurants go.

                                                                                                Our reservation was at 7:30, our driver took us to The wrong address, we called and told the staff that we were going to be a little late. We arrived about 12 minutes late. They gave our table to someone with a 8:00 reservation, this was 7:45. After a 15 minute wait the sat us in a crappie both that was extremely tight. My son and I ordered the small filets, mine was good, my son was served the end of the tenderloin, looked like a cone. Totally unacceptable. We would have sent it back but were worried how long it would take. We had to be somewhere at 9:45. Will not go back.

                                                                                                Overall, good experience. Very unique that it has been there for 90 years without any change. We had the Châteabriand for 2 which was good but not great. The sides were adequate. Not comparable to modern steakhouses but again it is an old-fashioned steakhouse with a very good value.  perhaps should’ve ordered individual fillets or the porterhouse. Very good service and a very cool place. Again an excellent value.
